Country Programs Overview

At national and sub-national levels, HAARP's role in tangible HIV and harm reduction outcomes will primarily result from the work of the five Country Programs (CPs) and a research program in the Philippines.

Each individual CP is independently designed and separately contracted to address country and locality specific priorities that are in accord with the overall HAARP Goal and Purpose. Each CP has its own specific Purpose and Outputs against which the activities will be assessed at country level. The Gender Integration Strategy guides all CP planning and implementation, and each country's approach to advocacy will be in accord with the overarching Advocacy Strategy for HAARP.
