HIV/AIDS Asia Regional Program (HAARP)

Welcome to the online home for the HIV/AIDS Asia Regional Program (HAARP), an Australian Government, AusAID initiative.

The goal of HAARP is to reduce the spread of HIV associated with drug use among men and women in South East Asia and China.

The program commenced in 2007 and will run until 2015.

The cross border project (s) will support harm reduction interventions at one or more sites between two HAARP countries. The following border regions are of interest to HAARP:1. The Golden Triangle; (between Burma, Laos, Southern China and Viet Nam) 2. South-eastern Cambodia/South-western Viet Nam.
